Popular Call of Duty Vanguard multiplayer weapon MP-40 has received nerfs in the latest game patch.
In the latest update patch notes it’s been revealed that the MP-40 has received a lower damage range compared to how it was before. It’s currently the preferred SMG slot for Vanguard users since day one, but that could change depending on the severity of the nerf. It’s likely that the decrease is slight and makes it less powerful in long range combat.
The full patch notes for the Call of Duty Vanguard update is listed on the official website. The MP-40 stands along as the only weapon adjustment, alongside bug fixes for killstreaks, attachments and weapons, among others.
The update will be in effect during the 2022 Call of Duty league, which will run from March 3 to 6. Call of Duty Vanguard players can now get the patch by booting up the game on their console or computer.
