The winter season is here, meaning that it will be colder and the heater may not be enough to keep up with the dropping temperatures. You can stay warm in your Vela One space by doing these tricks.

Try Prioritizing The Extremities

The body prioritizes keeping your internal organs safe, so your feet and hands tend to be one of the first parts of your body to feel cold. These body parts do not have muscle and help in producing heat so that is why they start feeling colder much faster. Try warming up your feet and hands by rubbing them together or going to a warm place in your condo. You will start to feel much warmer when you do this.

Drink warm beverages

Heat yourself up from the inside by consuming warm beverages like milk, coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. This can help in increasing your body temperature for a short while. To avoid your drink from getting cold too, invest in a cup warmer to keep your drink heated up.

Wear Layers

To beat the cold, you should layer yourself up. Wear a shirt, a jacket, a scarf, sweater, gloves, hats, socks and more to keep yourself warm. If it feels too hot you can remove a few layers to keep your body from overheating and make sure you are comfortable enough.

Move Around

Moving around generates body heat and gets blood going in your body. By exercising and staying active, you heat up your muscles and they produce energy, leading to increased body heat. When you are gaming, watching or chilling in your condo make it a habit to stand up every half an hour or so to stretch and walk around. That way, you lessen the risk of getting chronic diseases and naturally heat up your body for the winter season.
